Ok, I need to ask because I’m starting to feel weird. For me, at where we are now into the saga, House Tyrell is on the verge of collapsing big time. I say this and I love House Tyrell. There’s no sentiment in this, it’s just a mere fact.
Am I the only one seeing this? Is this another unpopular…
I think that when the Lannisters fall, it’s going to wound but not cripple House Tyrell. Some of them are clever, scheming opportunists, like Margaery (but then again, she’s Anne Boleyn in the Tower right now) and Olenna, and those sorts always pull through. I wonder though about Mace, who is inept, Willas, who is the “nice” one, etc. who we don’t know much about. Or I don’t know much about.
It really depends on who wins out in the North and if Danaerys makes it West. I don’t think that Stannis will be too willing to treat with Renly’s supporters (treason!), and Dany isn’t likely going to be sympathetic to someone who served as stewards to a family who killed her parents and siblings. And if Stannis falls to the Boltons, I can’t see that working as an alliance either, especially if Roose is dead and Ramsay’s Lord Paramount.
As for Euron, it’s Euron, so who knows? Maybe Victarion will take him out, or a dragon will eat him, or something unsavory.
I am unsure. Just wanted to ramble.
Fair points (lol at Euron ^^). I just can see them taking the same exact path as House Gardener who is now extinct (well more like they transformed themselves into House Tyrell to a certain extant).
